Field Trips
Field trips are an exciting and integral part of our Nature School experience. We organize a big field trip every month to extend learning beyond the classroom and immerse children in hands-on experiences with nature and the community. Proper planning and communication are key to ensuring these outings are both fun and safe.
Field Trip Permission Form
Purpose: To obtain consent from parents/guardians for their child to participate in the field trip.
Includes:
Child’s name and emergency contact information.
Field trip date, time, and location.
Transportation details.
Parent/guardian signature and date.
Field Trip Plan
Purpose: To provide detailed information about the field trip to families and staff.
Process:
A copy is sent to families one week prior to the trip.
A physical copy is kept in the emergency backpack for staff reference during the trip.
Includes:
Field trip destination, date, and time.
Itinerary of activities.
List of items children need to bring (e.g., water bottles, hats, snacks).
Transportation and parking details.
Emergency meeting location.
